Ceramics and the World

Baking clay into shapes and forms started tens of thousands of years ago in the cradles of civilization. Over time, the process was continuously developed and perfected by different cultures around the world. A couple thousand years ago, in Guangdong, China, porcelain coating was engineered to protect ceramic products from wear and provide aesthetic qualities. Porcelain ceramic products were then traded with the West, and a strong relationship of trade was established, bridging the distance between East and West. Fine pieces were even gifted as symbols of unity between countries all across the world. For thousands of years, the culture of ceramics brought the world closer together, and it continues to bring communities together all around the world.

A Small Step Towards A Big Mission
